Guidelines

  • Check your submission for spelling and grammatical errors.
  • Create your own original content.
  • Write about relevant topics related to honey, honey bees, beekeeping, etc.
  • Make sure your directory listing is completely filled out.
  • Read and respond to the comments left on your blog post.
  • Promote your blog post! If it gets published, send an email to your mailing list and share it on your social media.

Don’t:

  • Post material that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy or obscene to a reasonable person.
  • Promote personal or non-industry related news, products, events, reviews and topics.
  • Submit promotional posts. Blog posts must have some informational value. Advertisements will not be accepted as posts.
  • Make false accusations about a guest blogger or My Honey Crate.
  • Fabricate events, reviews — or any material.
  • Plagiarize. When quoting others, please cite your sources accordingly.

Credit Sources:

  • When quoting any other blog or publication, be sure to provide a link to the original and use quotation marks or block quotes.
  • When using a photo that is not your own, be sure to obtain permission and cite the photographer. If you can’t, provide a source or an appropriate link. All photos MUST have a citation, even if it’s your own.
